There isn't. The positioning on UIX with that bar is handled in the core JS file of the Chat.

Hi thanks for the update, but what I'm asking for is to have a whitelist option instead of just a blacklist "Disallowed pages" option. The reason is we have no way to guess every single possible url where the chat would show up unwantedly, Therefore, a whitelist option with a * wildcard option would only show the chat on expected url paths such as https://mysite.com/threads/*, https://mysite.com/forums/*, etc,

Hello Yes, it was my mistake. I did not set it correctly in the user groups and only looked at it with my admin account.

all user groups do NOT see this anymore
only I as an admin don't care what I hire
even if I deactivate everything in the chat settings for the user group, still an idea?

I don't understand what you mean. In the screenshot you posted it looks like you wanted, without the room tabs.

Since it is user group permission based, just analyze your permissions to see where the issue is.

I run an NFL team forum using Xenforo 2.1. This is our first year using Siropu Chat 2.1.12. We have game chats with small groups of participants (10-20 maximum) during games that last approximately 3 hours. Our participants are complaining that at times during our game chats, they no longer see new posts but have to make a post of their own to see new chat posts. I have the 'refresh' settings set at every 3 seconds in all four option fields (which is the most frequent refresh settings you all recommend). Although we have had the problem early on in chat sessions, it seems more widespread later during the session. I thought this might have something to do with the 'active' settings so I extended them prior to today's chat but we still had issues. I love the software in general, but why would it not be refreshing consistently for all participants? We are talking a very small group with a limited volume of posts per minute.

I posted this issue on my 2.1 forum back in October and am no closer to figuring out why my members chat screens are not 'refreshing' at the refresh interval set. In fact, they will intermittently not refresh at all unless the user makes another post - at which time numerous replies suddenly appear. It is making the chat feature almost unusable for us (sort of like being on a video call where everyone intermittently goes on mute for long stretches ). I have never experienced this myself - but at least half our users are (and there seems to be no commonality in terms of browser being used, device type user is chatting on, etc...). I am working with @Siropu to try and trouble shoot this - but as I told them, it seems very odd that I am the only forum having this issue (there is nothing particularly unique about our forum). I am hoping someone somewhere out there has had this issue and figured out what a cause and solution are?

Just an fyi in case anyone experiences my issue. We did two things to try and fix the issue. First of all, our Sucuri firewall vendor offered to stop anything from the chat application from cached. Secondly, we have a rotating image banner that refreshes with a random image (from thousands available) every 5-7 seconds. During our organized chat session we disabled that rotating banner.

We had zero issues of any kind for the first time ever. Hope that is helpful to someone down the road.

I have a few questions before I buy.

First, do you generally make this add-on compatible with new XF versions pretty quickly? I like to keep my site updated as soon as possible, which is why right now I only have mods I've written myself.

Second, and I'm sure if I weren't being lazy today I could find this answered somewhere, can I install this add-on on my test server and my production server with a single purchase?
