[bd] Widget Framework 2.6.6

Help! Having some serious issues with disappearing widgets and widgets not showing up at all.

I recently upgraded to Xen 1.4 and then upgraded to this newest version. When I checked after install, pretty much all the widgets were missing from my home page.

After spending 3 hours testing the nuances, some widgets, cause other widgets to disappear. For example if I have 4 widgets on the index page, when I go to add the 5th, the first 4 will effectively disappear. I've figured out that some widgets make everything disappear, some do not. For example, adding the "Recent Status" widget will cause all widgets to disappear-- the only widget that will show is "Recent Status".

There seems to be no rhyme or reason why some widgets render, some don't, and when one does render, the rest of them disappear.

Any ideas?
You guys please export widgets and send me the xml :)

I meant to delete that sorry, but I figure it out. It was a class that I had in a custom header causing the issue. And the add-on just happened to rename the widget class to the same name.

@xfrocks

Is there any way with certain sidebar blocks that I can get them to use the 'all' location, and then have something that excludes them from one location?

Or would I need to separate all the locations individually by commas?

Thanks in advance.

You can use 'all' and then use expression to hide it on some pages.

Ok, widget page. Has anyone worked out how to do a post display look and feel like on a portal eg xenporta but as a widget?

Hi, just reworked the question just as you were replying. Sussed out how to do the page, now trying to get a widgets look and feel like say xenporta threads. I can then move over to widget framework instead of a specific portal solution

You can use the Full layout of Threads renderer. It has title, user, counters and full post with support for [prbreak][/prbreak]. If you need anything else, tell me :D

Superb, just used it and great but... anyway or atleast advice on how to do, is create a layout that is similar to the threads look and feel as in xenporta?

Can you take a screenshot of what you want to achieve?

Sure, just attached it. Its like the default look of a post when using xenporta. If I can get a widget thread option looking like that, it will allow to just use widget framework. Or atleast allow a customiseable full layout mode. Many Thanks

For this screenshot, the Full layout is pretty close eh? You can customize it further in Style Properties or editing the template directly "wf_widget_threads_thread_full".
