Banned users can send messages. And I checked their user group but nothing seems wrong.
Can you send me a screenshot of the user group permissions for banned users?
Also can you send me a screenshot of the results of admin.php?permissions/analyze on the banned user?
This add-on doesn't impact those permissions so I would be surprised if it is causing the issue.
It's ok. I recently got my first 4 star after implementing a feature request. It happens.

I don't mind this, but it's missing a feature from the default one: the indication of static/dynamic/VPN IP.
I unchecked the option and see that the default is whatismyipaddress.com.

Well this has got me stumped.
A new member registers and get sent the normal verification mail. They able to view the forum areas like normal at this stage but once they verify their email they get this.
So once your User state moves from "Awaiting email verification" to valid this happens.

- I have checked usergroup permissions on registered usergroup and they all look right.
- I have tried putting the new member into all the different usergroups as secondary and it does not change.
- I have changed the primary user group to admin no change.
- I have added post...
Same for me.
If you rebuild user caches it will impact any account affected. The only accounts that would have been affected would have been accounts created after upgrading to 1.9.0. If the account was created on 1.9.1 then you will have no issues.
Let me take a look.

Uninstall and install 1.9.2 and you should be good to go.
Basically I forgot to add the column to be created for new installs.
