I'll have to get back to you. There is something definitely not working with the in thread ads. I'm deleting everything and starting from scratch.

What's the problem exactly? I see a responsive adsense ad between random posts (R flag) on both desktop and mobile.

Your sidebar is in the left? There are 3 general sidebar positions: Top, Below Visitor Panel and Bottom. You can however add your own position to place ads above statistics block.

@Siropu My ad in the "Media Sidebar Top" is displaying to the right in mobile view when it should be centered, is there something I should put in EXTRA.css?

Suggestion:

I sell ads directly. I sell an ad on a time (annual) basis, not by impressions.

It would be nice to have a tab on the ad page where I could list all relevant details. Contact Name(s), Contact email(s), Phone Number, Username(s), billing address, Date of Payment, duration of ad, etc.

It would also be nice to have a page that could alert me when an ad is coming due for renewal, list current advertisers with their expiration date and other info, etc etc.

Basically something to help me manage these ads.

@Joeychgo, what do you mean by "directly"? Packages are used for this, and all the relevant info is listed for every package in the "Create Ad" section for advertisers. And you can sell ads per year/month/day/week, not only by CPC/CPM. If you are not using any payment method, you can use the "Custom Payment Instructions" with invoices to make your life easier.

Ads that are about to expire are displayed in Ads Manager home page in ACP.

What I mean is I sell them directly to advertisers, I arrange payments, place the ad manually, etc.

Ive looked at packages and cant figure out for the life of me how to actually create an ad for a specific advertiser. Not to mention where I would be able to store the info for each specific advertiser. (ie contact information for the customer)

I forgot that you work with advertisers that are not members. You cannot use packages to sell ads in this case, because they have to create the ads themselves.

You can create a user for each advertiser with all the info you need and associate those users with the ads. When you go to "View Details" of each ad, you can see who's ad is that, when it expires, etc.

Not as far as I can tell--- for example, none of this seems to be available:

Advertiser/Company Name
Username
Contact Name
Phone Number
email address
Payment Date / Method

None of this seems to be in there.





I imagine I could jimmy rig some of this together -- but it would be incomplete and sloppy.

They are not displayed in the ad details. My suggestion was to create users for advertisers, and set the details you want in their profiles, and associate those users with the respective ads.

For Payment Date / Method, you need to generate invoices to keep track of payments. You can generate invoices for those users as well.
