If you block your links, then you can't monetise them. If you don't block your links, then you can monetise them.

Excluding guest, so maybe I will enable skimlinks only for the registered members.

Fixes an issue with installing the add-on (the code event listener for the template hook was still defined despite it not being used).

Please, as a precaution, disable the old version before installing the new version if you're still running 1.2.0 of the add-on.

@Chris Deeming, is there any ability to customize the link colors via the EXTRA.css? I know it uses the ugc CSS - but I think that's global for links?

I added this the addon and installed with no errors, but the test link from Skinlinks isn't working. I have added the number into the acp.

you must read the install instruction from skim link. There must be a redirect in your url

I re-read the install instructions and there is no redirect, forum is installed into the root.

You must read the instruction on Skimlink Homepage and your Account direct. And you must have access to your Server or your Hotlinesupport must do the changes.

thanks I just got it working, I need to read better I was selecting the forum I thought it would show in and realized it was the opposite.

Any chance we can have the above included in the addon? The above code when added to a template will disable product and merchant auto-linking for registered members (SkimWords) while still enabling SkimLinks (the transparent link affiliation) for all users.

The addon doesn't support it, but just put that code in your footer template and you're good to go.

I've used it with both. Now I just have the basic javascript in the footer template.
