In Xenporta you have the option: to set the index controller - that move forums to http://domain.com/forum/ kinda like so:

xenporta.webp

In Xenporta 2 Pro - The option is slightly different ... After updating Index Page Route options to articles/ the main forum list domain is routed to http://domain.com/forums/ with the "s"

Question: How to make it so the XP2 install still uses http://domain.com/forum/ (without the "s") as the main forum index url?

Thanks for all suggestions and assistance!

I'm having an issue with the Raw HTML widget. I'm trying to post an ad from my Loot Crate affiliate account. I was initially able to get it to work, but now no matter what I do, the ad simply will not appear.

I've set the Raw HTML widget to not be hidden from any user groups. I've created an Option Set specifically for this ad that is also not hidden from any users. I ad it to the sidebar, just like I did a few days ago when it worked, and nothing! Any advice?

[Update] It seems to keep disabling the Raw HTML widget. I'll place it in the sidebar and click Save Changes, and I'll get the message saying my changes were saved. But if I leave and reload the page, the Raw HTML widget is back down under Disabled Widgets.

[Update and FIX!] Got the issue resolved. It was a mod_security issue that needed to be whitelisted. I just contacted my host and got everything resolved.

Is there anyway to ad a widget for the better blogs addon?

I would like to show some of the latest blogs in the side panel.

Thanks

I'm sure there is... if you make a widget for it.

XP2 uses XenForo's built-in routing system, XP1 did not.

Is it possible to create a layout for the articles page that has two side-by-side articles on the same page?
Example:
Article One | Article Two

I need this because I have two Minecraft servers, and need one news article for each server.

As an FYI - I've found the solution for this particular issue.
You need to add a route filter in the AdminCP ==> Home ==> Options ==> Route Filters ==> Create Route Filter
Works like a charm. HTH someone who has the same question. Cheers.

Back on xenporta with a few months without it - reinstalled it, however all but options is empty.
I mean widgets, options, layout etc is just blank. Any idea what went wrong?

Quick question, we have the TS3 widget showing on our home page as part of the XenPorta layout however it will not update unless you actually refresh the page - leaving the page and returning or re-clicking on the header does not update it. How can we make it refresh automatically every time the page is loaded?

Cheers!

Sound slike something went wrong during install. Uninstall and start over.

The TS3 widget is a third party embed... I have no control of how that shows up.

I have a strange issue where myself as Admin, can not see the Featured Threads on the Article List page (it's set as my Home Page). If I test permissions as a moderator, regular user and guest then I can see it fine, but under my normal admin account I can not see any of the Featured Threads. I have the "Ignore User Permissions on article list" ticked. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Do you have personal settings on your account? You may have disabled the feature viewer just for yourself.

Where would I find that? I've checked just about every permission I can find but I haven't come across anything where I can enable/disable the feature viewer? Thanks.

skipped thru the 1st 20pages or so but couldn't find an answer if you have:

what if I wanted to just have the facebook widget appear on the article list only and not the forum list as well. Is there a hidden option within the facebook widget that will prevent this?

CSS FOR RAWHTML WIDGET - I am trying to create a Raw HTML widget option set containing both HTML and CSS. You could do this Xenporta (as per screen shot below), but Xenporta 2 seems to only have the first dialog box to enter the HTML only, it doesn't have a second dialog box for the CSS code? Am I missing something here or has the way you add CSS to HTML widgets changed in Xenporta 2? Thanks in advance.
