[021] XenForo Messenger [Deleted]

Can anyone point to a more competitively priced alternative that even comes close to the slickness and polish shown here?
just the one i already mentioned, which has full video support for the same price(which we dont care about), or otherwise has plans ranging from free to half price.....chat can be nice, it can take away from forum content, but its nice to have for some....i cant imagine paying more than xenforo for it then renewal fees etc but thats only my 2cents, i will see myself out ;P

I dont understand The complaining about the price. I mean why complain? Just don’t buy it.

It looks like a great add on. If my forum ever takes off big time I might actually buy this.
if you mean me, ive just shared my honest opinions.....i respect peoples right to do whatever they will and think whatever etc, but the purpose of this all is communication if ive at least understood that much correctly...i could like to check out alternatives too, but at this rate its not happening.
maybe a black friday event or downloadable demo or um maybe it will already come with xen 2.3🤷‍♂️....it is cool to see sort of from a sideline tho but lately its kind of nice just to see developers seeing future with xf 😂

In response to the comment about price complaints, it is important to understand that discussing and expressing opinions about pricing is a normal part of the consumer experience. When a product or service is priced higher than expected or perceived as expensive, it is natural for people to voice their concerns or express their surprise.

While it is true that individuals have the choice not to purchase something if they find it too expensive, it doesn't invalidate their right to discuss or comment on the price. Price discussions can serve multiple purposes, such as seeking clarification, comparing value for money, or providing feedback to the seller.

The commenter mentioned that they see the add-on as a great product and would consider purchasing it if their forum becomes successful. This perspective highlights the potential value and benefits the add-on may offer. However, it's essential to remember that different individuals have varying financial circumstances and priorities, which can influence their perception of what constitutes a reasonable price.

Ultimately, open discussions about pricing contribute to a healthy marketplace where buyers and sellers can engage in dialogue, negotiate, and make informed decisions based on their needs and preferences.

if you want to kill your forum, buy this addon! forum is for to keep all important information, keep it indexed, can drive organic traffic with real people!
what is the point of this chat? if anyone uses telegram, whatsapp, signal!
messengers are threat to forum, killing forum website everyday, little by little!

really to say this addon not worth even $5

To use it for a native app
I think I will be ready to discuss this if the developer of a similar application contacts me so that I can coordinate the requirements with him.

But this is a messenger on the forum, which, on the contrary, stops your users from switching to messengers :D

I don't need something as fancy as this, but I'd pay for a simpler add-on that just gave:

  1. conversation alerts (like the real time notifications add-on)
  2. updated the message count in the header
  3. If viewing a conversation, automatically add the new messages/reactions in real time (like the realtime threads add-on)
👍

Demo Site: www.devsell.io

1. Chrome on PC

on the main page, if I click this icon ... (in the very bottom right)

this displays:

I take it this is the Real-Time Chat 2.0 App at work. This is the $249 product and doesn't have anything to with Xenforo by itself. I could use this on a Wordpress site if I wanted.

and .... if I wanted to replace xenforo conversations with real-time chat 2.0 .... the chat app would be located here:

https://xenforo.com/community/conversations/ or on your site https://devsell.io/conversations

2. on iOS.

when I click the chat icon, I get the chat popup but the options are blank (no 021/WithLove option). Is that a glitch ?

if Xenforo Messenger was removed, would all the conversations end up accessible at https://devsell.io/conversations ?

No, this is an add-on for XenForo 2.2 and cannot be used anywhere else.

It will be located on the forum where the add-on is installed via the /conversations link. Also, the full-sized messenger will be located at this link: /conversations/messenger.

Please, could you send a screenshot of the problem? What version of Safari are you using?

All conversations will remain available on your forum.

your own the website https://quilljs.com/ ?
No

Should the the visible branding say YES, considering one of your required addons for this to work has visible branding?
