XFtoWP - XenForo to WordPress integration

XFtoWP - XenForo to WordPress integration [Paid] 1.6.1

No permission to buy ($79.00)
I'm so confused by this vendor.
Their forums are at kolakube.com
But even if you register you cannot post unless you also register on 2 other sites
xftowp.com
marketersdelight.com

None of which has registrations enabled.
Everything is so hard. Why do we have to jump so many hoops to ask a question.
Kolakube is his personal services site, which he does business under and is where his support forum is located.

I believe when you buy the add-on on XFtoWP it will associate your license automatically, but I don't remember because I did so a long time ago.

So I've read just about every post here, I know this plugin will add Xen member to Wordpress But I need my Wordpress/woocommerce users moved into my Xen forums. Can it do that? Also can users that signed up on my Xen end still login from that end?

I just "accidentally" discovered an error in the serve log, while trying to debug another plugin error alerts.

Don't think the two are related at all anyway.

Here's the error message in my server log:

Code:
.955786 [NOTICE] [1559296] [T0] [129.54.156.71:43192:HTTP2-1283#APVH_mysite.com:443] [STDERR] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class "XFWP_Integration" not found in /var/www/mysite/wp-content/themes/uncode-child/functions.php:53\nStack trace:\n#0 /var/www/mysite/wp-settings.php(672): include()\n#1 /var/www/mysite/wp-config.php(97): require_once('/var/www/mysite...')\n#2 /var/www/mysite/wp-load.php(50): require_once('/var/www/mysite...')\n#3 /var/www/mysite/wp-blog-header.php(13): require_once('/var/www/mysite...')\n#4 /var/www/mysite/index.php(17): require('/var/www/mysite...')\n#5 {main}\n thrown in /var/www/mysite/wp-content/themes/uncode-child/functions.php on line 53\n

Which is referred to: class XFWP_Fluent_Forms extends XFWP_Integration {

I don't know how serious it is, and I don't have any skill to fix this, has anyone faced this before and found a solution?

Alex could you suggest a fix, please?

I'd like to use threads as WP comments. It I'm not sure the implementation is what I need.

What does it display on existing WP posts that have no thread?
Ideally I’d like a form to submit a reply. And if a user does that it should create a thread with the WP post data as OP and the user comment as reply to it.

Also, when do updates happen? This is not real time right? I would much rather each comment gets added when it happens rather than a Cron type update that syncs everything. I have several thousand posts and a Cron style update for all is not good.

Finally, selecting a forum to put all threads is not enough, ideally each custom post type should post to their own forum node.

This plugin is no longer supported. I've tried everything to get a hold of @kolakube

There is no contact page on his various websites, no emails are sent to verify your account on his support forums, and he doesn't answer PMs here.

If I'm wrong, I would love to know how you guys are getting a hold of the developer.

Update: About a day later... I just got the verify email...

1. On WordPress, bridge displays at maximum only first page of XF comments (regardless of the number set in the options: "Replies per page"). This maximum number depends on the XF setting. There is no possibility to load more (the button is not displayed). In my case we have a lot of comments in XF but right now only first 30 are loaded from XF to WP.

This is at the top of the priority list for enhancing Thread comments along with offering comment sorting options.
Original post is from 2021. Is it already possible to display more than 1 page of comments? We might have +100 comments. Thank you

Is this plugin still supported?

Can XF be the leading system for user registration with this Add-On? In our case registrations should exclusively be done in XF and then they should automatically be synced to WP. In the video i only saw the other direction.

The add-on does work with XF as the primary registration source, and then you sync to Wordpress (I do not know if any changes are planned now that XF has better API integration).

I do not know if @kolakube is completely active, as he has had a period where he went MIA for a bit several months ago. I would say buying it is at your own risk until he comes back.

Well if you hoover his username tag you can see that he was online on Friday (2 days ago), despite I still don't understand why he's ignoring the thread...
It is very easy to automate refreshing activity on forums (or most other sites). I personally do it on a few communities that have strict activity rules, but I have no intention of visiting that consistently.

Hey @kolakube

Do you know how we might be able to get the comments to show when using Bricks Builder? I can't seem to get XF comments display for whatever reason.

Hi all, I'm interested in using this plugin. I started using a custom WP/XF plugin on my website in 2015, then switched to one called Xpress for the last few years. But they eventually dropped support.

For those of you using this plugin, do you feel it will last for many years? Are you happy with it?

Has anyone successfully purchased the plugin recently? https://xftowp.com/checkout/ leads to a blank page and I'm a bit lost regarding its state. Reading the past comments the support for it seems nearly dead or orphaned even.

That leaves me a bit scared. I really need some ability to synchronize WP users to XF somehow.

I guess, I should look into OAuth instead.

The add-on is successful, but it has a lot of room for improvement. Especially the integration of user groups with each other is not automatic.
Although I wrote a lot of ideas to him, he seemed to be interested at first, but then he didn't even reply to my messages.
I can't use it even though I bought it.
I hope that in the future, instead of turning a deaf ear to the suggestions made, he prefers to make improvements.
