I heard that registering your domain for several years actually benefits on Google, is that true?
I have mines registered for several years.

The video Andy posted pretty much clears that up.

Only thing I heard is that the age of a domain benefits its Google trust rank.

I've also heard this and this actually makes sense, the longer you've been around the more likely you're legit.

Nothing wrong with auto-renewal and checking a month before it's due to be sure.

I've also heard this and this actually makes sense, the longer you've been around the more likely you're legit.

Domain age does benefit you in Google, but it's worth noting that Google doesn't go by whois data, rather the date the domain was first crawled. So buying 'pre-aged' domains with nothing on them on the promise of better search exposure is nothing more than a marketing scam.

The Xenforo domain now expires on 04 Jun 2013, the same date when my new annual GYM membership does.
