I seem to have the same issue you had regarding the slider defacing the website
I tried Reinstalling it ( the entire Test setup to be accurate running on an unedited theme)
and enabled and dissabled block time cache.
any suggestions?

I like to kid around sometimes, and I couldn't resist the username analogy. I honestly couldn't offer much of value to help in the thread though, most was already given by Jake and Adam and Adam is still "helping", but I do wish you and your site the best though.
