Xenforo 2.0 doesn't log me out

Why does Xenforo 1.5 log me out after a period of time but Xenforo 2.0 - the demo has me logged in since the day I registered.

The demo has the 'Stay logged in' option checked by default (presumably this is the default option in XF 2.0+).
