Considering how stable the XF betas have traditionally been, does it really matter if they call it "B4" or "RC1" when packaging it up?I was hoping for RC 1![]()
Are release candidates supported?
Of course RC are made available for download.

That is absolutely fine, but what I'm seeing is 1.3 is not that big release compare to the 1.2 and its pretty much stable in current state. So it should be declare stable in 1 or 2 weeks maximum now. Many people like me won't be upgrading live site until its declare stable and supported.Every XenForo release so far has had at least five beta versions and one RC.

Very true, no doubt about thatThere's more than enough support from the community as it is now...
I update the second they are posted if home, if not, as soon as at PC. I've never once had a major issue.

haha old habits die hard when you hold multiple vB4 licenses. On the other hand.. Its not so much XF i worry about not being stable its the multiple plugins that have the potential to break i worry about.. I actually hope to wait for a week or two after a stable release in hope some plugins are updated.. Although i admit i rarely if ever can hold out that long..I've just generally been with the whole "why put it off" camp. You still have to do it (upgrade) if you want the new features, so why not upgrade, report when needed, and help out the community. I tend to see upgrading as getting more, even if you have to put up with a couple quirks here and there. Just me though, and I realize others do have their own opinions on the matter.
