Coming from someone who frequently complains about updates, as I mentioned before, let's see your report showing how a new update brings you new members. :rolleyes:
 
You don't give up, do you? How do security updates bring more members? You're conflating two different things, so you clearly don't know what you're talking about. You're making a strawman argument here.
 
This thread is going to a place like most others here on the subject. Give it a break. Chris and the others will get you candy soon. When that happens, please report here how the update gave you a flood of members. :rolleyes:

Now, since you picked a fight with me, looking at this post, I can see that you're just being an XF apologist and again conflating updates with members.

You really have a problem with people sounding off at the poor state of communication by the company, the broken promises and the dog slow development cycles. As you've said right here, loads of customers are making these complaints, so what's with your attack on me, hmmm?? I doubt you're capable of a straight answer...

FYI, customers interested in new updates or communication from Xenforo isn’t about “bringing new members”. Not sure why you keep claiming that.

Customers being concerned about the current state of affairs, and the Xenforo company itself. Isn’t nagging. Sorry that hurt your XF cultist feelings tho.

Welcome to the real world of business, where communication is important after a year of broken promises.

After an entire year of what we have had in 2025 and the Xenforo brand, I am baffled to see why anyone would be surprised that customers are more often expressing their concerns now that we are in December. Try this in any other business environment and it would be just as bad if not worst for the company.

The cultists around here should not be mad at customers, instead reach out to Xenforo themselves to see what is going on…

Indeed, it would be very bad PR for most companies and I doubt they're actually immune to this, we just don't see it.

On a certain tech forum, there's apologists for Intel and AMD. Say one remotely critical thing about their favoured brand and omg they come out with their pitchforks and trolling at the member, instead of putting the responsibility on the underperforming company. If that isn't cult behaviour, I don't know what is. And the lamest thing? They're not even getting paid for it or any other compensation! :ROFLMAO:
