That's not what I'm seeing at all. The node filter works. Even if you enter an absolute URL from Site A on the domain for Site B, it does a 301 redirect to the correct location.

I'm wondering how/why you have duplicate content to begin with? It shouldn't be an issue if you're set-up correctly. I'm assuming of course that you're displaying different nodes per site.

The purpose of this addon is to show one or more nodes on multiple sites. If you do not want to show one or more nodes on multiple sites then I don't see much benefit in this addon for your situation.

I'm not really clear on how duplicate content is an issue. Mind mentioning some details on your setup and how it's a problem? Obviously I'd like to stay in the good books with google

demo2.xencentral shows the following nodes:

1. main forum
2. trading system
   
3. demo 2 main forum

demo.xencentral shows the same nodes, but also a number of nodes that are only visible on this site.

As long as the 3 nodes on demo2 are fully visible to guests and therefore search engines, then there is duplicate content and Google will punish demo and demo2 for it.

The solution for this is to have permission settings to restrict thread content from guests per domain per node and only make guests viewing of threads accessible on one instance of a node.

What about creating a conditional to display a <meta name="robots" content="noindex" /> tag in the head of the duplicate content forum? Choose one domain where you'd like the content indexed, and write the conditional to include the noindex tag in all the others.

I am not sure if that would have the desired effect. Having guest permissions would completely resolve this problem and also offer other benefits.

Probably been covered but it's a long thread: will this allow me make certain users administrators in certain nodes only? We run a roleplay node with a couple of mods in charge, but it requires new sub-forums in it all the time, which means them coming to me. I'd like to give them this ability without letting them change any other nodes. Thanks for any help.

Bought this plugin, which answered my previous question. I too have duplicate content concerns though. I have a node I don't want on my main site, only on a subdomain. Removing it from the main site in the settings makes it invisible, but if you know the URL you can still access it, so I'm assuming Google can too. That gives me a duplicate content concern, the last thing I need at the minute is a Google penalty :/

Tested XenSSO, it's really quite terrible. The user experience couldn't possibly be more confusing and complicated. Not even worth trying

Yes, what you have described is definitely possible, and just to add to your list of requirements, you will not have "2 xenforo platforms", you will have one XenForo site, which is accessible under different domains (those, it is one site, one file system, one database, just different domains and virtual hosts are mapped to the same directory on your server). As a result you have 1 user base, one admin, but you make different sites look different (setting the language and style per domain), have different content (filtering forums, threads, resources and many third-party content types), so effectively they look like 2 different sites.

Another Question? So...got two working sites with your multisite addon....1 site has a different name then the other site......how do i set phrases which consist the name of site 1 to site 2...i.e

original phrase...login to.............with your credentials

site 1. login to socialmediatalk with your credentials
site 2. login to socialmarketingtalk with your credentials

Thanks for the release! You forgot to list that you have also included support for ShowCase.

Bug report:
- XenReviews featured items widget shows items from wrong site / nodes.
- Vaultwiki main page (index) needs to be configured to a different page. It would make sense to show the top node.
- Vaultwiki area's (nodes) do not show on the main wiki index.

Is support for XenMediaGallery also coming?

1 domain > style ui.x 1
2 2nd domain > extra license style nr 2 ui.x

how to manage that i can use a different logo on the second site since the logo is uploaded in the xenforo core?

also.....how to have an extra extra.css to make changes in the second style?

I'm blind......where is the override setting to exclude all members from forum nr 1. I do not want the members to be member of forum 2 since its another type of forum in a different language

Huh....but these are two major different sites......as a matter of fact i am planning to add another completely totaly different site in the multisite environment with a very different targetaudience

Convenience....1 admin. But if i can override all settings.....why not set if i want no users on the other platform.
