Hello!

Yes, the importer is created for 2.x version of the product.

Product does not include Spanish translation. However the phrases can be translated as usual.

Thank you!

Another question from me. In XenTrader, when the system is configured to only allow ratings to be exchanged between people who have posted in the same thread in a trading forum, when giving a rating, the list of valid threads appears in a drop-down. The person giving the rating must pick the appropriate thread. If there are no valid threads, ratings can not be exchanged.
This is a far superior method than pasting in the thread URL. Having to paste in the thread URL is maybe one of the biggest complaints from our members.
Is this what XenCentral Trader does? If not, could you add this functionality please?
It will be important that the query which gets the list of threads is efficient.
(The XenTrader query takes 166 seconds after clicking the Leave Feedback link.)

We will more than likely then use it for AVForums. Thanks.

Hello, @Stuart Wright

There is a link available in Add Feedback page called Find Thread, which allows users to search for the thread they are leaving feedback for. As soon as user starts typing thread title it shows suggestions to help to quickly identify the thread. This list takes into account the option mentioned, and shows only threads started by rated/rated user.
We find this to be better interface as there may be a lot of threads, especially when feedback are not restricted to thread starter/replier, it would show the list of all threads on the board, so we had to have two different interfaces to find a thread - list when restrictions are enabled and search when not.
Anyway, we are going to enhance current interface to partially cover what you need - clicking Find Thread will open the search field and will display default search results immediately, without typing anything. This if only few threads are available user will see them quickly and select one without having to remember its title.
This will be included in the next minor release.

Thank you!

Well that's great news, thanks.
I appreciate that there are several options available for how people will use this addon, and you need to cater for all of them.
However, when the exchange of feedback is limited to between people who have posted in the same thread, one of whom must have started it, chances are that there will be very few suitable threads. Very probably only one.

For that reason, without doubt, when the above restrictions are in place, the simplest way for people to find the thread for which they are leaving feedback is to skip the step of pressing the Find Thread button and just display the list of eligible threads. Hopefully you will agree with me and implement that.

Incidentally, for anyone else reading this, having managed trading forums for, it must be well over 7 or 8 years, now, I really do think that enforcing the restrictions listed above are the best way to manage the exchange of trade ratings.

Paid for an unbranded version. Having issues with the free version though. Hopefully this works.

Please let us know for which domain you have ordered the product and we will check and ensure it is added to branding-free list. Thank you.

Can't disclose domain over these forums, however the XenCentral issue has been resolved. The XenTrader though is where we're having the issue. It's free I understand just don't know how to resolve that issue. Still researching.

XCentral updated XenCentral Trading System with a new update entry:

XenCentral Trading System 1.3.0 released

Hello everyone,

We are happy to inform about the release of 1.3.0 version, that includes fixes and suggestions we have received from our customers recently. Here is a brief list of changes in this version:

1. More strict thread check when "Check Thread Starter" option is enabled. Previously was just checking that either rater or rated user has started the thread, now it will also ensure that the other party has replied in that thread (ideal for cases when users leave feedback for some service...

Can you please download and apply the latest version of XenCentral Framework you will find in Downloads section? The error should be fixed once the package is uploaded.

Thank you!

I've seen that error on your demo site.

Is the previous option of "..just checking that either rater or rated user has started the thread" still available?

Any chance of integrating this with the resource manager? So a user can leave feedback directly from the listing in the resource manager?

Thanks.
