Tickets 1.4.0 is a really nice upgrade.
Tickets 1.4.0 is a really nice upgrade.
Thanks guys! Seems I forgot to post the update here too.Agreed.
Just two minor bugs found thus far, mods see all tickets and users only their open tickets, where it should be reversed. And, thread titles with more than 50 characters won't convert to a ticket.
Minor issues... huge improvements with this latest version.
I need to review this actually.
- Implemented the ability to make hidden staff comments provided the required permissions are set.
- Added the ability to open tickets for users and alert them to its creation.
- Ability to convert thread to ticket and vice versa. Both of these actions are permission controlled.
- Tickets will now be deleted when the spam cleaner is used.
- Added predefined responses to the admin area and to the front-end.
- Improved template modification usage to better support custom styles...
For staff members, the icon in the moderator bar will display the number of open tickets. Individual categories and users can also be 'watched' so staff can receive alerts when new tickets are added. The Last version (1.4.0) sends a notification when there is a new ticket?
See above. How the administrators receive alerts when there is a new Ticket?.
Yes, they will receive alerts. And the users, receive alerts when their Ticket is answered?
This doesn't work, ads still show. Other suggestions?<xen:if is="!{xen:helper tickettemplate, $contentTemplate}">
I'll be releasing 1.4.1 later today, I think. I realised I put out a slightly older version of the .xml which was missing the fix I put in for this. This doesn't work, ads still show. Other suggestions?
- Move the moderator bar item to its own template for easier customisations.
- Added appropriate breadcrumbs in a couple areas.
- Fixed an issue with some category links redirecting to the wrong place.
- Bump the ticket title character limit from 50 to 100.
- Fixed some issues with the installer to make it a little less prone to falling over. If you are experiencing issues from a previous version, please contact me via conversation or support ticket so I can assist as needed.

Without any information like database or FTP access, I will not be able to diagnose the issue and figure out what's going on with your version that isn't happening to any one else, I'm afraid. I use this add-on in production as do many other customers but I have not seen such an issue.Great work in newest version. Thanks.
But I'm totally confused. I don't know what is going on in my site that I still can't use it.
Upgraded to newest version. Everything seems to be fine.
(with this is mind that I had no ticket and all test tickets were removed before upgrading to newest version)
Then I created a new ticket in latest version. Totally new ticket. But when the ticket created and I've been redirected to ticket page, the ticket was another thing. It was the ticket that I had created months ago and deleted too. And the new content was as 3rd reply of that ticket! And more weird is that even after my new content there was another reply in the ticketAny ticket that we create has this problem.
(also although I have permission to add responses, but I can't find any place to add ready to use responses. In ticket resposes page also there is no button to add or manage responses)
I can't provide private info like db or ftp and ... of this server unfortunately. But I can't provide admin access to xf or even team viewer to test it on my own pc.
But if you are not convinient with it, there is no problem and I'm ready to forget about using this add-on at all (although the new version made it a great support tool). As my license is going to be expired soon too.![]()
I'm guessing it is the "Inject Moderator bar" template modification? I'll look into what I can do to improve the compatibility of that.Clashing with Report Improvements by @Xon - due to the template modifications being applied by both addons.
Yeah, it appears your addon was executing first, so changing the template, meaning this one wasn't able to match the code it's looking for.I'm guessing it is the "Inject Moderator bar" template modification? I'll look into what I can do to improve the compatibility of that.
