And that’s the problem. You can’t imagine it therefore it shouldn’t exist.

Ok. You know what? That's not what I said. That's not ever what I said. I said it was not ABSOLUTELY NEEDED. That's all. I even gave you the point saying that, yeah, XF should probably allow multiple prefixes. I also never once said even that XF shouldn't have a CMS. I just said that, again, it wasn't absolutely necessary. That's it. That's literally all. Is a forum more inconvenient in some ways for content management? Yeah, it is. Would a lot of potential business customers also greatly love the inclusion of a CMS. Yeah, they would. And I understand all that and agree. But I would ALSO say that the forum format also has its own strengths here that I feel are getting overlooked.

Also, why do you think Reddit staff is allowed to be such an ******* in the internet space? Because they have years and years of accumulated discussion and knowledge and they know it. A ton of very valuable data that companies are now salivating over. And that was accomplished through the forum format. (Though I would also argue that Reddit's voting system infected everything like a cancer.)

Though they are a fine lesson in how to be an ivory tower that utterly refuses to listen to the community’s needs or wants.

Do you think that attitude has been changing lately or are they still like that?

The moderators wanted the discussion in that thread ended simply because it was off-topic. Hence, I moved it to this thread as requested.
What I meant is that Arantor is unable to reply, since he was restricted from the Off Topic section.
