Hello, I recommend adding a Public Roadmap and more details about the Future of Xenforo 2.3 and Xenforo 3 and more transparency and participation with the community, we don't know if you want the project to be active or just in maintenance mode, I think it does already more 1 year with no relevant new feature releases, just general security fixes, with 2.2.12 being the most relevant so far, but for example does it support PHP 8.2? I would also recommend support for PostgreSQL, it is the most complete Open Source SQL database.
It would be good to have an overview of Xenforo development as it seems to take too long for new versions, maybe a standard releases would be good, for example Laravel https://laravel.com/docs/10.x/releases and https:// symfony.com/releases
They have a release pattern and audience, whereas with Xenforo we don't know when a new version will be released, if they are working on a new version, what size team is focusing on Xenforo, what is the vision of the future of Xenforo with new competitions and technologies such as GPT Chat, AI in general, programs such as Discord, Telegram, Groups on social networks, etc.
Xenforo needs to maintain the philosophy of a traditional forum, but become more powerful, modernize the look, technology used, resources, in short, evolve, even if gradually, but steadily and more transparently for its community and customers.
I also miss translation into several languages, something that most Open Source projects have and Xenforo is paid and doesn't have, for example, officially Brazilian Portuguese.
