Subscription behaviour and integrations

Hello,

Two quick questions:

1. What is the behaviour for auto subscribing commenters and thread creators? Is it vBulletin style, that is, when someone posts on a thread, they are auto subscribed, or phpbb style, that is, subscription is an optional second step.

2. What are the options for exporting the data from xenforo? Drupal is our primary CMS, and we already run a large forum with it quite successfully. In future, we might well want to either bridge it or migrate to Drupal. What are the options here?

1. Either/or. You, as the admin, can set the default. The options are:
  • Watch with e-mail notification (default)
  • Watch (without e-mail notification)
  • Do not automatically watch.
Watch is essentially the same as subscribe.

What a lot of admins do if there's no bridge for export - and it looks like there's none for Drupal - is export to VB or use the Wordpress bridge, then do a second export from there to Drupal.
Or get one made by the v. good addon sommunity.
