They are quite same at the first view but not the same in the way it works. XenGallery uses album as the root of photo/video. You cannot upload without creating an album. While XF media relies mainly on the Category. There are lot of different in the concept of managing photos. XF media relies on Attachment which takes time to display. I actually have no idea if i do or not. im using www.inmotionhosting.com and i don't know if they have that installed. If not how would i go about getting that on to the servers?

What is your issue?

This is the error i keep getting when i upload the video. Im uploading MP4 video files.

Make sure you have PHP fileinfo extension enabled. (As see in the addon description).

You are right. It is an issue but your thread was successfully imported. This issue happens when redirects to the album after imported the thread.

Thanks. I tested with xmg and I would like to test with yours before buying, is it possible? In private/nonPublic area of the site.

Some questions:

About RSS feeds, does each category have an rss feed? Does the feed show hi-re image or thumbnails?

Can each main rss feed or category feed just show one thumbnail instead of 3 or 4 as you have now?

You've got infinite scroll on the demo page, what other views are available, sidebar, etc.?

How do you use categories and albums, what is the difference? Can one exist without the other? I have over 4650 categories in on photopost deployment.

What about ad placement, sufficient space available around the pictures to place ads? Are there medium images which users come to after clicking the thumbnail and if they want to see hi-res they click on the medium image rather than sizing based on their screensize or directly showing high-res image?

Hello, I upgraded to Xenforo 1.5.4, then upgraded Xengallery, but now the gallery large images and other sizes are not showing (small images showing fine). I followed upgrade procedures, am I missing something?

Can I ask for some help please. I have searched this discussion and couldn't find a definitive answer.

I have this gallery installed. I also have widget framework installed.

I have a portal page on my forum where i use blocks to insert content etc.

I am looking to use the "Gallery - Top Photos" widget on the portal page but am unsure how to get it into a block ??

I know i can use a Custom html block and add my own HTML to this block but do not know what to add it include the "Gallery - Top Photos" widget.

Please could somebody talk me through this slowly
