Can I have some questions before ordering:

1. Is it possible to add some custom fields for an time (yes/no or text field) which can display on first tab? If no, can I request this feature?
2. Is there an Option to choose a category for Blocks/Widgets (to filter by category).

1) Its fairly easy and straight forward if you know what you are doing. I have a suggestions forum where you can request anything you'd like to see added. I also offer customization services as well.

2) No. All Modules/Widgets.Blocks pull from ALL Categories currently (with one exception and that is the sidebar blocks on the category pages.. those pull just from the respective category). Future versions will have Category Selection, but I can't even begin to say when that will be. Need to get all the basics done first, then will start on the more advanced stuff. Widget Framework will be the first to get it tho.

Simply edit the Comment DataWriter:

/library/NFLJ/Showcase/DataWriter/Comment.php

on line 16 change the message field attribute 'maxLength' => 2000

Is it possible yet to just add a url for a photo and it will show up on the showcase home? - Reason I ask is because I have a mod that allows do-follow signatures per usergroup and the images dont show up when you choose the 'upload' feature anywhere on the forum, it just says 'file attachment #s here' and you gotta click on it then a pic pops up.

It would be awesome plus less space we have to use if we can link images from our photobucket etc accounts. I would pay more for this feature..

Did you suggest that at the add-on forums?

If you did, you might get more replies from others who own Showcase as well. Just a suggestion.... Plus, he usually explains more into detail there.

No, and I doubt I will ever do something like that in the core addon. I did just add the option to allow items w/o images to use a Category image or a system place holder image so that they can be displayed in widgets, blocks and module. Why not get your Mod fixed?

[Showcase] Looks interesting. Do you know if the images are being stored in the XF attachments table or a new table unique to the mod? (Personally I'd prefer them being in the attachments table.)

I think Showcase has it's own attachments table.

Certainly seems to suggest it uses the attachments system and presumably the attachments xf table.

The attachments system that Kier and Mike wrote is just awesome. There's so many areas of XenForo that just aren't obviously brilliant but they most definitely are. Any developer can easily add custom attachment types to XenForo. And it seems Bobster has done it this way.

There are no language XMLs released yet (that I know of), but there are a some German licensed owners that probably have translated.

BTW.. this is for Bobster I guess, and probably no to this, but is it possible to have more than one instance of the showcase on a site? Happy to pay for more licenses of course, this is more a technical question...

If you wanted to have one for one thing, and another for a completely different thing? Rather than having Categories and Sub Categories, for both to have a top order NavTab of their own?

Or... For it to be split somehow? lol I dunno sounds silly now I type it But hopefully you will get what I mean.
