Nope, I changed it and couldn't figure out where else it was changed. I see now that it is used in the title as well. I was thinking of doing a "My whatever" in the profile tab, but I can change it via the template if I want to go that route.

I didn't add anything over and above what XF is already doing microdata wise. Showcase Items are being indexed just fine on google.

If there is something specific you'd like to see in this regard, I have a suggestions forum on the support site where it can be discussed.
 
Yeap, it took about 20 minutes before I saw it listed with my stocks and sports add-ons from you. For the new featured items.. How about a way to vote on items and most votes during set time frame gets featured. Going to be building a World of WarCraft Twink forum and use Showcase for people to build character profiles with. Be great if they could be voted on to be featured.

There is a discussion in the suggestions forum for showcase about "featured" functionality. Feel free to join in and provide your input :)

Ive added a few items but cant get anything to show up on the showcase home but inner categories I can see them, why is this? I have all default settings and also make sure user privileges is set correctly as well.

Why are my Items not displaying on the Showcase Home Page in any of the modules?

Answer: There are multiple reasons that this can occur.

1 - In order for any item to be included in any of the modules on the home page, it must have at least 1 image uploaded to it (uploaded into the items gallery, not embedded into content).

2 - Each module on the home page can be disabled via the Showcase Options in the Admin CP. When you set the amount of items to be displayed to 0, that will disable the module

3 - Top Rated. Only Items that have been Rated will display in this module.

4 - Moderated Items. Items that are set to moderated will not display anywhere except the Moderation Queue and in the Items Management (in the Admin CP).

That is because 'showcase-item' (one word) is also a route. It too can be changed just like the route 'showcase'. There are actually 8 routes that showcase uses (6 Public and 2 ACP).

The 24 is the unique Item ID and is an important part of the URL, so no.

URLs in xenforo are: route/non-pertinent-info.unique_id/action ie showcase-item/220-gallon-main-reef-tank.6/edit

Hey Bob,
With an eye on your future addons (specifically the Reviews one), I'm inquiring to see if it's technically possible to have a nice url for each item without the id. I know XF has an option to set url and allows you to not use ID when you create a new forum/category/etc.

So, say we have one item for each NFL team, it would be to have
mysite/reviews/nyg
mysite/reviews/NYKnicks

instead of mysite/reviews/nyg.1234/

The individual items themselves need the ID (just like threads) as the Item Title is not a unique identifier. Categories (being Admin Created) I could probably do similar to how creating a forum lets you set a unique URL Portion.
