Not planned Shorten <xf:comment> to <xf:c>

This probably extremely trivial but I find it somewhat annoying to write out <xf:comment> every time. I think it would be great if xf:comment was left as is, but also add xf:c available to use too.

Hopefully other developers will agree with me. Thank you!

xf:comment is clear and concise to what the intention is. xf:c has no context at all and xf:com could be confused with other things such as communication. I vote to leave as is.

They can always leave <xf:comment> open for use but add <xf:c> as an option.

If you find yourself frequently typing out the same phrases, sentences, or even paragraphs, there's a neat little freeware utility (very low resource) I use that I have autostarting with Windows 10. It sits in my system tray so it's easy to add or edit items any time:

I don’t think we particularly want to get into the realms of tag aliasing.

Especially as, for the reasons mentioned, it really just begins to make the code less clear and ambiguous to its meaning.

Also most code should be self explanatory which should mean that comments probably should be few and far between so it doesn’t seem like a significant issue.
