To be honest I didn't know Instagram even had non-square images. I've updated the add-on to support embeds of variable size. That will probably fix the issue with iOS Safari as a side-effect.

Automatic self-updating is a bit of a dangerous proposition. Have you tried either of those add-ons? I don't personally use them but as I recall, some of this add-on's users do use them.

If they're not in the list, then they're not supported. If you post examples of such links I'll take a look at them at some point in the future, although I can't say when.

I apologize if this has been asked a million times already... my schedule does not allow for me to read each page individually.

I read in the description that Twitter is available for this add on. Will my users be able to embed tweets into their posts? Will they display in the posts something like this?

This is important to me as I want to keep this feature available on my site and my current option has reached end of support

@JoshyPHP, looks like the same solution will be needed for gfycat:

I can't do the same thing for Gfycat. Only a handful of embeds use a dynamically sized iframe (they are relatively inefficient in terms of performance and time-consuming to maintain) and Gfycat isn't one of them. I've borrowed a remote iOS instance from the good folks at Sauce Labs and I hope to be able to fix the overflow issue in next update.

There's an option in the search box at the top that allows you to restrict your search to the current topic.

Yes, until said tweet is deleted or removed from public view.

Xbox DVR have changed their URLs. All of their previous URLs are now invalid and there's nothing we can do about it unless they provide backward compatibility.

This version includes a potential fix for a CSS issue regarding overflow on Safari.

Hmm. What's the old and new URL look like? I have Ruby tool you can use to sweet posts on a site and convert things like changed media URLs: https://github.com/ianchesal/xenforo-conversion

If I can I see the old and new formats I might be able to give specific instructions for using my convert tool to rescue the existing embeds on sites.

They went from GUIDs to numeric IDs and I don't think we can map one to the other. At least I don't see any kind of API on their site.
