I'm not aware of a way unfortunately. The favicons are cached in google's servers and it's internal to them how frequently refresh the icons.

I have a feeling the "free" XF2 addons will be few and far between - based on what I've seen so far, the $10 addon is few and far between.

Agree with you on that.

But, having used @rellect 's mod without issue for a long time, I wanted to check to see what the plans were.

Is it possible to exclude a URL? So that there's no favicon displayed when loading URL:s from for example "google.com/*".
