I didn't mean to imply that the addon didn't work. It's just not working for me (apparently). I was hoping you could make some suggestions as to what I can look for / what I can do to make it work. That add-on works as others have used it without a problem. So either the color of the text is the same as the background or you posted that before waiting 1 minute for the CRON to run. The count population runs on a cron task. You can manually run the Cron task by going to tools -> cron entries -> rebuild most ever online counts
The add-on works just fine.
I have a demo of it on my site in my signature if you want to see.

Manually running the CRON job worked!Do the counts populate when you run the CRON task? I am willing to help you/fix the issue. I just don't have a way to recreate it from my end. Are you running MostEverOnline 1.0.4?
Manually running the CRON job worked!
It looks like none of the board's CRON jobs are running - they all have a 'next run' date of 18-JUN.

Is this a dev/test board? Cron jobs only run based on triggers from people browsing the forums. If you don't have any users, the cron tasks won't get triggered.
If you're running on a Linux platform, you can use this to trigger the cron tasks externally: https://xenforo.com/community/resources/cli-job-runner.6478/
Regarding future changes/improvements, if I could suggest one addition that I think would improve this further it would be to have something like: (Recorded: dd/mm/yyyy, time) after the count, eg ...

(Recorded: dd/mm/yyyy, time)
Apart from that it's great as it is

Does the add-on only start reporting from the moment it's installed? It's not looking at 'users online' from several years ago, right?
It does! Thanks! No the updating is current. This add-on would have no way of knowing how many users you had before it was installed. It updates every minute and records the highest count only during the time period that it's recording. It's set to only run if the count is higher than the current count of users. If the count is not higher then it does not run.
So it records the highest count when there is one higher than the current. Hope that makes sense.
Personally, I wouldn't include a separate line for the robots count as to most people looking in they're not interested nor need to know about how many robots have visited. To include them within the Guest count would suffice.
The date would need to be when the most ever online total count was updated
It does! Thanks!
When I moved from vB to xF several years ago, I was saddened by the loss of our (then) all-time highest users online stat.
Do you not prefer the date for the total visitors instead? Versus a date for when a single one has been updated?
Yes, keeping it simple
