Make sure Popup Links As Columns is enabled when you edit the node.

A 1.3 update is in the works. In the meantime NodesAsTabs 1.2.2 works fine with XenForo 1.3. I have now updated the resource description.

Mainly I want to add the ability to choose which children compose a tab (independent of node tree). There may be other stuff.

Yes thanks I did that however now the inline scrollbar disappears and we still don't get dp columns.

Try reverting navigation. Just a guess.

I'm pretty sure that's a core feature. Check Admin->Appearance->Style Properties->PageNav,Link Groups and Tabs

That's an error with Tapatalk. You'll need to raise the issue with that add-on.
