XF 2.1 New PM notification but no new PMs.

This may or may not be a bug depending on the circumstances. Essentially, I have a user that claims they have a new PM notification but no new private messages that go along with it.

A few points:

1. They have checked every folder they have. There is no new PM in any of them. He also has many other folders that I cropped off to preserve his privacy.
2. They have been known to leave PMs, often by the permanent method.

Because of point #2, is it possible that somehow one of those PMs that they've left is giving him a notification despite him having left it? That's all we can think of at the moment.

XenForo doesn't actually have a concept of folders in Conversations so I strongly suspect the erroneous count may be a mistake in that add-on.

Indeed, it's quite likely. I was thinking the same thing, but it's nice to hear someone agree.
