Add-on Must I ask? Arcade

I did send a pm to Admin at IBProArcade. They had not realized and said they would take a look. At least they are aware now and may come up with something.

As much as I like this, I find it hard to believe that XF flew under anybody's radar over at vB.org. There was just too much chatter about it to miss.

Who knows if they knew or not.........I feel better knowing that I made sure and brought it to their attention. Hopefully someone will be able to provide an arcade when the time comes. I have a big arcade and will not switch until something comes out.

That last talk over there was that Kevin said he was over his head. Nothing substantial since that several months ago.

Im willing to help but I have not coded anything from scratch before. Maybe would could adapt it to xenforo at least from VB. Maybe if some coder's would jump in we could do it ourselves and have it ready by the time Xen goes gold.
Any takers?

If you are going to "adapt" anything from vB, I would suggest you start with IPBProArcade since v3 Arcade is most certainly not an open source project that can be ported without our involvement.

Ouch.

Kevin, I think some are just frustrated that we've heard very little about any progress. Can you tell us where v3Arcade is with a possible port to XF? Are there still plans to do a Xenforo Arcade?

And this is what I mean.... When the question is asked point blank, he goes awol. I even asked several times on his own site- same thing...silence.

Many people left v3Arcade for IPBProArcade when v3 failed to keep up with vB versions. After a long MIA tour, we were promised a new beginning.

As for me, as soon as an author creates a add-on arcade for XF, that's who I will go with and stay with. I have always supported the author financially for providing one and would continue to do so.

I would just like to get a little feedback about who, if any, have plans for providing one and get a little update here or there. No hard timelines...just a statement of intention and an approximate year.

On a unrelated note there are plenty of PHP arcade scripts that are out there that are FREE anyway...
Phpbb itself is open source....always a way people.....
just saying..
