Mac OS X Lion

For the most part, I like it, though still disappointed with Mission Control (but it's not so bad if you don't use spaces). Then again, multi-display hasn't been great with OS X since day one.

Are you using the trackpad or mouse?
Both. MS Office 2011 for Mac is actually much better than MS Office 2010 on Windows. I also have VMWare Fusion and run my Windows 7 VM on a SSD. It performs better than the PC it replaced. And that was an easy process too. Just load the Fusion agent on the PC and let it create the VM on the iMac. Piece of cake.

Liking Lion so far, my biggest disappointment is that my NAS no longer works for Time Machine backups....hope they update the software for it soon if not I'll have to look at another solution.

Screen sharing with Skype 2.8 is broken in Lion. Which means that you have to 'upgrade' to Skype 5.2 if you want to use screen sharing with 10.7. Disaster!

Except don't. Because Skype 5.2 idles at 120% of CPU under Lion, melting your processor and chomping through your battery if you're on a laptop.

I hate to say it, but it certainly looks like the days of Skype as a viable communication platform are numbered.

Hmm, can't say I've experienced this on Lion.

Oh wow. It is going to take some getting used to. Scrolling feels natural because I have an iPhone, but it will take some getting used to. However, full screen Safari. <3! I like to utilize all the same I have and could really get used to this. So far, no gripes from me.

Edit. I found one: Scroll Bars. I'm ok with them disappearing, but white on a light background is horrendous. They should be white on a dark and dark on a light.

Check the Internet, .. there are hundreds of others who are experiencing this and can't hear themselves over the RPMs their fans make.

Silver Lake has properly f* Skype, and I can't see it improve with the current CEO (what a d*!) and Microsoft ..

I was very very happy to hear that Google Hangout is working so well, but it's not a client, and that's a huge shame.

Any of you mac owners using CuteFTP for Mac. Since the upgrade to Lion cute won't connect via SFTP which is a disaster as I'm having to use a windows machine:confused:

Loving the new mail client, Safari (on steroids) and versions. Runs like a dream in my iMac 27 but I have noticed a small amount of slow down on my 2010 MBP.

So far, running awesome on my Summer 2009 MBP. Only real issues I have, the scroll direction (which I reset to pre-Lion scrolling direction) and a longer start-up time. Also found a small bug with using the zoom feature (the trackpad zoom for accessibility), but I found away around the bug / saw that others already reported it to Apple. The feature enjoys shutting itself off when the computer goes to sleep (using hot corner with a screen saver after sleep fixes the issue).
