Rewrite is 1.1.
ok, will it be compatible with beta4 / 1.0?

Blog 1.1 will require XenForo 1.1 for sure. Either way it won't be this year, but probably sometime in spring.ok, will it be compatible with beta4 / 1.0?

You mean when you upgrade? Of course.Sorry I meant compatible with beta 4 of your LN blog
Only modifications with shoddy code would be incompatible with upgrades.Sorry I meant compatible with beta 4 of your LN blog
ok great - can you tell me if categories and rss feeds made it to LN blog beta4?You mean when you upgrade? Of course.
I haven't gotten to it yet but those are 2 of the things I want to get into it at least.ok great - can you tell me if categories and rss feeds made it to LN blog beta4?

Not really, just right now I'm finishing up something else that's a little more important. I think Beta 4 will come probably around early December.ok thanks, sounds like it will be a while until beta 4 is available then

I'll announce things in a week or so that'll make things much more solid.
The Spring estimate's for the Blog 1.1. I'm hoping to get 1.0 stable before the end of the year.Looking forward to the next version of the blog, but Spring is a bit far away. An early beta wouldn't hurt <WINK>
Will we be able to set a route? The old system used /articles/ and they'd love to remain that path rather than going with /blog/
At this time we'll probably announce everything on our own site, but when Beta 4 is ready to be sold, I'll update this thread (and the related Twitter account).I have no problem with that, will you be having a new thread with more details for the paid version on xenforo?
I do have a figure, but I'm going to refrain from posting it should it suddenly be taken as the official statement by some people as is usually the case with estimates, odd as it is.David - sounds like a good collaboration - and I've no problem with paid as I was more than willing to donate (I'd already been paying a license renewal for IP.Blog anyway ...).
Any ideas on pricing for the blog add-on yet?
Personally I'm migrating from IP.Board this coming weekend so probably won't be ready to install and transfer blog content for a few weeks yet, so will beta 4 be available fairly soon?
Cheers,
Shaun
Oh, and one more thing, I don't have any further questions just now ...![]()
