Is this still true?
I bought this addon two years ago. Even on wutime.com's purchase pages, it seems to only let me download the versions that existed when I bought the addon. It doesn't seem to let me download the current version.

The updates duration is one year, pretty standard. Read the top of the Overview page.

I tested Limited Guest Viewing with Xenforo 2.3 RC4 and didn't find any issues or errors.

Seems to work just fine with RC4.

Notes

• I didn't test with RC3 or earlier
• RC4 is now out, which should make <=RC3 obsolete

Could you please add IP tracking?

I likely will, but no promise on timeline.

A simple implementation with the ability to set a timeline for remembering IPs, and flushing old IP's after X days.

It doesn't come without potential issues for crawlers. I'm curious how many people currently run this add-on: https://xenforo.com/community/resources/known-bots.6489/ ?

Yes, for very good reason actually. You're right, it does allow savvy users to bypass. For most communities it's fine, but yes, if you're running any sort of tech/gaming community, it's easy for that userbase to circumvent (because they're more tech savvy).

I cannot download anything that I have already purchased; my license has not yet expired, but it doesn't even allow me to download the previous versions. I get this error: "You must have an active subscription to Limited Guest Viewing Pro – Boost Registrations in order to download this file."

This is probably due to a change in the token and the name of the purchased product.

I can download Wutime-PreventEmailConfirm-1.2.0, but not this one. I purchased both on the same day, and as I mentioned, the license is still active, but it doesn't allow me to download any new or previous versions of this plugin.

@Wutime The addon does not correctly count the number of views.

If I limit the threads and thread list to 2 views, the addon allows me to view up to 3 pages.




Example you can reproduce:

1) From homepage I click on node 1 (1st view)
2) Then I click on thread 1 (2nd view)
3) Then I click on the breadcrumb to return to node 1 (3rd view)
4) Finally I click on thread 2 (4th view)

The register window appears when I try to return from thread 2 to node 1 (at 5th view, not 3rd)
