I bought this add-on again (used it years ago and it worked brilliantly) but this time have lots and lots of errors.

I doubt the error is caused (but anything is possible) by my addon, I have it running on a few sites and have no errors.

This one is discussed above and there is a manual fix posted until @Wutime addresses this case. (See here: https://xenforo.com/community/threads/limited-guest-viewing-paid.165172/post-1664061) You can either try to implement this fix or roll-back to one version prior. I actually haven't upgraded to this version, still running 1.7.2 without issue.

Any update on a fix?

It's been a month since the last release and no comment from your hand on the error/bug in the latest version.

This is not a good practice in terms of customer support.

Yes. As always, be sure you've done a backup and all that just in case something goes off the rails (which it shouldn't, but you just never know...).
 
I'm just out of the office this week; I'll resolve this in an updated patch when I'm back.

Meanwhile, if having issues, please disable the add-on on the options page. Just until an update is available. You can do this on the options page for the add-on, it should be the first option at the top of the page.

Note, I'm running this on all my communities, which are updated to 2.2.16 and I'm not having any issues. If you are, please give me time to update.

Hi David,

Could you please add IP tracking? Currently, it is possible to bypass the guest limit by opening a new web browser session in incognito mode.

This is fixed, wasn't an XF2.2 or XF2.3 issue, it was a PHP warning/notice issue (and resolved).

You're absolutely right. My apologies. In my defense, it was only notices showing in logs, no detriment to end-users/visitors.

But I don't disagree with you, support needs to be better.

Lame excuses but honest: February/March I was overseas, and April/May saw me off in ambulance and still recovering. But there's no excuse; I know lots of people that get a lot more done with a lot less time or fortune than myself.

I will try to be better.

I'll also check I'm subscribed to all discussions.

Is this still true?
I bought this addon two years ago. Even on wutime.com's purchase pages, it seems to only let me download the versions that existed when I bought the addon. It doesn't seem to let me download the current version.
