XF 1.2 HTML in Phrases

We had a Forum Rules forum containing a Forum Rules thread, but I turned the forum into a link forum and moved the contents of the thread into the terms_rules_text phrase, overwriting the default XenForo rules.

I just wanted to see if I did my HTML right. It works, but I'm not sure if I used the "right" HTML:

HTML:

Revised: September 1, 2013 at 3:30 PM (PT)

Accounts

Alternate accounts are forbidden on this forum; that includes account sharing. If a user is caught using an alternate account or sharing an account with another person, that user will be temporarily banned. If the user continues to share an account with another person or a user that was banned, that user will be permanently banned without any warning.

If you forgot your password, but can't reset it because your e-mail has changed since your last visit, please use the Contact Us form and we'll get things straightened out for you.

Posting

Harassment of a user will not be tolerated and will be dealt with personally by staff members.

If you are or someone you know is being harassed by a user, don't take the situation into your own hands, as it only escalates the problem and makes things worse. If you see anyone being harassed or flamed, don't hesitate to contact a staff member. Additionally, please take a screenshot of the abusive content, as some areas don't have a content history and users can easily edit their content to avoid getting in trouble.

If you repeatedly harass a user after already receiving a verbal warning, you will be issued an infraction. After repeated infractions, you will be temporarily banned. Additionally, depending on how you insult the user, or the numbers of infractions you already have, you might be issued a permanently ban.

Do not make duplicate threads. Duplicate threads clutter of the forums. Before creating a thread, do a search or scroll down and look at the Similar Threads section to see if the thread already exists. The only forum excluded from this rule is the Spam Sector.

Necrobumping is not allowed in the Spam Sector, but is allowed anywhere else. Use discretion, though, when doing this.

Do not backseat moderate. An example of this is a user acting as authority figure when they are not. Doing do may caused the situation to worsen, so always contact a staff member.

Creating attack or negative call-out threads are strictly forbidden. If you are found to be doing this, you will be punished.

Content

Swearing of any kind is allowed, as we are an uncensored place. Please use discretion, though, and make sure not to overdo it.

Pornography or overly sexual posts are not welcome outside of the Mature Discussion forum, which you must be 18+ to view. Please keep everything PG-rated.

Signature Images

You are only allowed dimensions of 500 x 250 for signatures.

If your signature image goes over the required size limits, you will be notified to change it; if you don't change them within 24 hours, they will be modified accordingly and you will receive a verbal warning.

To conclude this, we'd just like to say thank you for taking the time to read these important rules, and enjoy the forum. If you have any questions or doubts whatsoever, please send a personal conversation to any of the staff members.

Thank you,

With a quick glance, you have a few typos in those rules.

Thanks, Jeremy.

Admittedly, I just did a quick copy and paste, but with some changes, from the previous thread that was made on February 17, 2012, which I believe was only the fourth rules thread. Before that, though, Sean and I alternated between making the rules threads, which were always copy and pastes from the previous threads. However, Sean's basically the king of typos, haha, so I went through his threads and corrected the typos, so I might have either missed some or made my own.

I believe I caught them all:
 • you might be issued a permanently ban.
 • Duplicate threads clutter of the forums.
 • acting as authority figure when they are not. Doing do may caused the situation
