Having just read the announcement forum

DEWD!!! This update looks amazing. Good work guys and way to step your game up!

Now I just need to figure out how to get into the BETA program. ;)

Ignore, stats, admin logging, and custom user fields are huge additions and can't wait for them. Even more excited for the search solution. I hope if its something that runs as an outside process that we don't have to wait for everything else to be ready to see it launched.

Also while disappointed the central registration/user system doesn't appear to be in this 1.1 release I'm glad to see we have an idea of what is going in so I can begin to work on it.

XenForo 1.1 (coming this summer) link

This will be the first release of major new features since XenForo 1.0. There are lots of things going in, some of which we have hinted at in posts around the forum. There are also a few things that we had originally slated for 1.1 that will now be pushed back to a later release in favour of getting 1.1 out sooner with an array of completed features.

Here are a few features that will be in XenForo 1.1:
  • Right-to-left layout mode for Arabic (etc.) language support
  • Thread prefixes, definable at a per-forum and a per-user group basis
  • Warnings for trouble-making users
  • Ability for members to ignore other members
  • Custom user profile fields
  • Daily statistics
  • Admin CP search
  • Improved admin and moderator logging
  • Additional thread viewing permissions
  • Criteria-based user group promotions
  • A notice system to display messages to your users in certain circumstances
This is not an exhaustive list. We will expand the feature list over time, but some improvements may be a surprise with the release itself.

We will be detailing many of the features of XenForo 1.1 over time via the Have You Seen...? forum.

XenForo 1.1 will be released this Summer.

Why are you re-posting the announcement?

I have been waiting a long time for the thread prefixes and the warning system as they are very much needed for my forum due to it's niche. Cant wait for it.

When 1.0.0 was in beta they put the download up to everyone that had a license. So to answer your question if you have a license you'll most likely get access to the next beta version of the software. Unless they change that sometime.

I need help to translate this at russian

What exactly mean this? "Admin and Moderator Log" or "Admin and Moderator Log in"?

admin and moderator log is the record of all their actions.

what is crucial to me that is so far omitted is editing post logs (you know,t he this post was last edited by x at y thing at the bottom)

The resources manager is something I've been waiting to see I'm really looking forward in seeing that in action when it's implemented onto the company forums.

Those aren't large changes, so they might not have announced them.

From things they announced, those are the large features or changes to important features, whereas those are smaller changes in comparison.

Will it really be time to say adios to my vB3.8 board soon and hello to a shiny new xF installation? You bet your ass it will, with 1.1 on the horizon, the future is looking brighter all the time...now, where are the custom style guru's?

Good job devs. It looks like there are some excellent features in 1.1 and more importantly, many of them are features that the community have been waiting {ahem} patiently for :)
