XF 1.1 Guests cant vote on polls

Okay so i have checked and guests have nothing revoked anywhere to do with voting on polls, it is set to allowed everywhere yet guests just can't post...how do i enable it?

Am i missing an option somewhere?

Does any forum software allow guest vote poll voting? Problem with that one, what if a guest uses dial-up connection with their IP changing each time, they could vote over and over again, rigging a vote poll result single handed.

It's not possible for guests to vote on polls.

There is an additional layer of permissions for guests which can't be overridden by the permission settings in the ACP.
Voting on polls is one of those.

Why is it an option in the permissions at all then?

Because those permissions are for unconfirmed users as well (who can vote if you wish).
