In that case don't renew until you want to.Why should I renew them now if the release may come out in six months? To renew them again in another six months? I have 5 or 6 licenses, and it's too costly.
If you renew now, you get 12 months of updates which will include XF 2.3 and probably XF 3.0.
Are you actually implying that XF 3 will be out in 2024?If you renew now, you get 12 months of updates which will include XF 2.3 and probably XF 3.0.
Given how 2.3 is actually quite a big update and rather bigger than 3.0 which is a big jump from 2.3, wouldn't it make more sense to call 2.3 3.0 and 3.0 3.1, perhaps?Forget I said anything!
XF 3.0 will mostly include just the new style which needs a little more time to cook and so, yeah, that is the current target, but it is by no means a guarantee.
We've even had conversations where 3.1 might be released in 2024 too. Theoretically, if work continues on a 3.1 feature release while the 3.0 style goes through its (smaller) release process then that, too, is possible when you couple that with the fact that we want to aim for much smaller, much more frequent releases.
A few grains of salt:

I don't know where you get that at... I can't think of anything that has been announced that will eliminate any add-ons I use (but does result in coding changes in them). From what i've read it sounds like most addon's won't be needed and have seen some concerned people on here!
Righto. I'll be keeping most of the 40+ I'm currently using. I might not need a couple of them any longer, and there might be a couple that soon won't work properly any more, for which there might be no replacements, but I don't see a lot changing in that regard.I don't know where you get that at... I'm surprised you're not testing the ignore feature here. On our forums, I think I might change it to the Dolby logo and call it Noise Reduction.I don't know where you get that at... Oh I do (but mainly using my own process)... but when there is a reasonable response that can be made to fallacious claims it's hard to let those claims lay fallow as they may take root.I'm surprised you're not testing the ignore feature here. Yeah it was because there are so many people who were worried/concerned about all the things that they weren't going to be needing in the next version.
