I was responding to Peggy's original post regarding issues with IE9. The issues are not IE9, rather, compatibility mode. Luckily for me, my site targets developers, so they're using Chrome or Firefox :) To anyone that views it in IE6/7...f***'em ;)

Ok well then... :D I said nothing :censored:

Talking about IE and Standard:
Microsoft says IE7 is more standard-compatible, IE8 is nearly and IE9 is more standard-compatible then the standard itself.. ironically but we all know better.. IE9 is at the time that IE7 should have been at release...

I am experiencing an issue where wide signatures overflow during conversations when using the Flexile style. Do you have any recommendations as to how I can best adjust for this issue?

Have you tried to restrict the width of the signature-area at the "Style Properties: Message Elements"?

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried just now setting the width to 500 as an experiment. That change had no effect on the signature width in the conversation.

I registered at your page.. hope you don't mind.. there is an interessting thing:
on my homepage, PC-signature pictures are zoomed to fit in the signature.. on yours it's not... you can't even click on the image..
Update: Printscreen in attachment to see my site

Well the width of the message block is smaller for conversations than it is for regular forum posts, so this should be a problem with the fixed width default style, too. How does the default style handle it?

i would like to remove some white space from the style. i have marked it in the screenshot attached to this message
can you tell me how plz ?

I'm sure he will when he gets home from work. Erik is very good with updates.
The update was only released this morning, and Erik works a f/t job.

Or sometime soon? I'm not upgrading to 1.0.1 til Erik upgrades Flexile.

He hadn't been on for a week, but it looks like he popped in a couple of hours ago so I'm sure he knows all about it.

Hopefully we'll hear some good news shortly... I'm also looking forward to him removing the reliance on the original Flexile so that Flexile Dark stands on it's own. Then I'll continue to do the updates on it myself which allows us to be the most flexible with upgrades.

Sorry guys I've been on vacation (on a cruise) for the past week so I haven't had time to update the styles for XenForo 1.0.1. I'll be home in a couple of days and then I'll be able to update them. Thanks for being understanding. :)

Alright, thanks for letting us know.

I've had the capability to do this for weeks now, but didn't release it as I assumed there wasn't interest. Most people seem to like the child-parent setup as it allows customizations to Flexile to carry over to Flexile Dark. I'll add a standalone version to the next release of Flexile Dark. :)

Flexile 1.0.1 released. Changelog:
  • Updated for XenForo 1.0.1.
  • Updated 8WayRun CSS.
  • Fixed inner width of sidebar (now slightly larger and same as default style).
  • Fixed visual bug with super long breadcrumb strings.
  • Updated editor smiley icon to new smiley.
  • Briefly tested with Internet Explorer 9.

Here is the current status of Internet Explorer support:
  • IE 6: completely broken visually, pretty much unusable
  • IE 7: visually broken in some areas, but still very usable
  • IE 8: visually accurate with the exception of all CSS3 effects, completely usable
  • IE 9: visually accurate with the exception of one or two CSS3 effects, completely usable
The style works fine on iOS for me, as long as it is fixed width. I will look into some of the fluid-width issues but it's not on the top of my list right now. :)
