I love the background node graphics. It's probably my favorite part as it fits very well with each show.
I only have one pet peeve and it's really really small.
The width of the sidebar menu items are all aligned perfectly except the images.
Oh and congratulations on showing a search above that of IGN and Neoseeker.

I haven't even got to the sidebar yet. I haven't changed much of anything other than the nodes for now. As far as the search, would not ever know. I never search for it, I have never worried about ranking anywhere on that, nor do I do anything to enhance my position. 
I suppose it's just luck, cause it certainly isn't activity.. hahahaha.
This is more of a place I go to get away from everything, just try out new options.

Well whatever you're doing or lacking doing is somehow working! lol I'll hope to have your luck when I finally launch my site if I ever find someone to customize the forum display.
What are the little side images to the right of the avatar? People can select their favorite Character or something?

you can show rank banner in admincp --> user --> this user ---> and check Display user as staffHmm, you just gave me an interesting idea. Since my site is about EverQuest, using a XenMood graphic for Races could be beneficial.
Maybe something like this:

Have started the massive re-do of Family Guy Fans.... will be using @Bob B awesome Showcase mod and @Snog TV Thread Starter as the primary add-ons working....
Slowly doing the forum list to display how I want. Was a slight nightmare getting FA to replace the rating stars for the TV Thread Starter, but finally got it working. So far, been a fun process. Still a considerable amount to do, but I am actually looking forward to it a bit more now, than I recently have.

Forum home... making progress
Inside each shows Main Category....
Replaced all rating starts with Font Awesome. Changed each node to match colors with stars, stats and titles... Was a much bigger headache with the FA stars than I anticipated. Slowly getting there though. Inside each shows Main Category....
