XF 2.3 What Can I bring Over From Wordpress?

My forum is integrated with wordpress and I know XF is a bit of a closed system but is it possible to bring over anything from my wordpress blog to users in XF?

my goal is to have news and other things such as tags show up in sidebar widgets on XF from the wordpress site. is this possible with the html widget or rss feeds?

This will require a custom converter imo as it's something not supported by the current official XenForo converter.

I have similar setup for my own clients. We use XF as well. My suggestion simply use default xenForo and import data into XF threads and create new thread data types. This way you will not require multiple XF add-ons and will have XF performance at best.
