Do Not Monetize Your YouTube Account

That sounds extremely annoying. I hate sites with a bunch of surveys, downloads and all that other stuff. I think something like that is mainly useful if it's for guests only so that they will be tempted to login. Interesting. The only problem I have with this is that I don't want any 'content-locking' that involves downloading stuff cause those kind of networks give people viruses.

I understand that I could be annoying having to complete a survey in order to gain access to a content or to a page, but CPA doesnt end there. You can choose to monetize your exit traffic, for example, people that goes to your website and then exits and goes to another website, upon exit it will load an interstitial page asking users if they are interested in an advertisement.

About the download offers, I have found that they dont contain viruses, but what they may contain is adwares which is pretty much software meant to find out the demographics and the popular searches people do on sites like google, bing, etc but viruses as in a virus that actually damages your computer, or places your computer in a zombie IRC army or something like that, I haven't seen that on any of these three mayor network.

All what I can say is that I am making alot of money using these networks. AdscendMedia for content locking, CPALead for Exit Traffic monetization and AdworkMedia as my backup content locking network. None of these networks have banned me and they do pay. After first having created wordpress blogs with unique "How-to" content and successfully monetizing that and seeing how good they pay, I have decided to design a new site, a social site that allows people to sign up to upload their content so that other people can download them. Other people will have to complete a short survey in order to unlock their content and in turn they earn a commission when that happens. So far, everything is going great.

In conclusion, I can say that this bad experience that I went with Google Adsense enabled me to search for other opportunities to earn money online in a different way. Had Google not banned me today probably I would not have heard about the idea of content locking and I would not be making as much money today with Google Adcense. But again, if you do not wish to do Content Locking, you can always monetize your exit traffic. Exit traffic is just that Exit traffic, traffic which you can't do anything, traffic that that you can't sell anything to or present anything to as they are people that are leaving your website. The only way that I can think of monetizing this traffic is by presenting a list of relevant ads to people that are leaving your site. Normally this works in a type of a javascript popup box people get telling them if they really wish to leave your site, and at the same time one main advertisement loads, if they like what they are seeing then can choose Stay, if not they can choose Leave and they will finally leave your site.

Possibly.

You can monetize videos protected under fair use; however, we don't determine fair use, which is what a parody would fall under. You'd need to make that determination yourself, or seek legal advice. That said, you wouldn't be able to monetize the video if the snippet you used has a claim already -- i.e., it's flagged as matching content in AudioSwap or Content ID -- the option simply won't be available.

Another question...

What if two youtubers collaborate on a video. Can they both post the same video to their own channels and monetize it? Or can only one do it?

Yes, but it's not really in your best interest to. The more unique your video is, the more inclined a viewer is to sit through the advertisement, instead of hitting the back button and looking for another video.

Hello,

We're constantly reviewing the categories of ads available to our AdSense publishers in order to provide access to a wide range of possible advertisers. Towards this goal, beginning on September 27, we're expanding the inventory of Google ads eligible to show on the AdSense network to include gambling-related ads from trusted advertisers.

Please note that the AdSense program policies will continue to prohibit the placement of ads on sites that accept money or allow users to place bets in exchange for an opportunity to earn cash or other prizes, directly from the site. In addition, these new ads will only be shown to users in regions where gambling is legal, which is determined by the location of the end-user. A full list of these locations can be found at the following link: http://adwords.google.com/support/aw/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=176014. Finally, publishers may not opt in to receiving ads from this new category if their sites are intended for individuals under 18 years of age.

If you're interested in allowing gambling ads to appear on your site and you feel it's a fit with your content and audience, you can opt into this category within your AdSense account. As a reminder, you have control over the categories of ads that can appear on your site. You can always check your category filtering options and make changes by following <a href="http://www.google.com/adsense/support/as/bin/answer.py?answer=164131">these instructions</a>. Again, please keep in mind that by opting into the gambling category, you confirm that the site(s) on which you place your ad code aren't intended for individuals under 18 years old.

If you don't wish to receive gambling ads on your site, no action is required on your part. We recommend checking your category filter on a regular basis to see what new ad categories may become available.

We look forward to continuing to grow the ad inventory available to you to help you maximize your returns from AdSense.

Sincerely,

The Google AdSense Team

This is great...I am not the only one. I just started to gain major exposure with my You Tube Channel and adsense shut me down. I made my own tracks, shot and edited my own footage and gave credit when ever possible. They still shut me down...I tried eleavers and have not seen a big change...should I look into becoming a partner on you tube? I just don't know what to do...Help

I am banned many times with adsense but still surviving.
Just follow there rules/tos carefully.

You should be able to serve adsense.

As for alternative, Epom is great.
My Epom and Adsense revenue is just closed.

I have tried so many times but no luck...

If you already have a google adsense account for your website, do not monetize your YouTube account because it will become disabled for invalid click activity.

Hmm.. I don't believe this for a second ;)
There had to be other factors involved if this happened to you,

I started adsense on 2010, they are so strict that time 2010 to 2012.
As far as I observe this year 2013, Google support is more friendly and supportive.
They help me on what to avoid and what should I do.
The past few months, I receive a warning notification almost every month to always comply with their policy.

Did you try Epom?
They are both good on my Forum, same revenue.
Now that I'm using Epom, my revenue is doubled (y)

Mine got banned about a month after I starting using it on our YouTube account. Nothing else changed during that time and never got a warning of any sorts.

Did your Youtube content break the Adsense TOS?

Google owns Youtube, so just adding your Adsense account couldn't have gotten you banned. ;)

It got banned for invalid clicks, never clicked an ad myself. All my content is original riding videos, including original audio.

BTW if I remember right this was back in late 2011'ish.
