Hi. Could you please add a toggle button for "Automatic refresh of badge counters when app is loaded/brought to front" in Settings > Preferences, allowing forum members to enable or disable it as they wish? Because some forum members using devices with 4 GB RAM reported that this feature increases memory usage and causes slowdowns when multiple tabs are opened. @digitalpoint

Honestly, probably not something I would have added as a per-user setting. Maybe site-wide, but it's also not terribly difficult to take it out via a template edit. Mainly because I think adding too many granular settings for users, and you end up with zillions of settings and eventually users have a hard time finding what they are even wanting to change.

That being said, XenForo 2.4 has incorporated this addon, so you aren't going to need to have it installed anymore.

Not really sure what you are asking, but this addon doesn't change the fundamentals with how XenForo works/looks.

Hi, on my UI.X or AC.UI theme, the modal for subscribing to notifications isn't appearing as shown in the picture above.

Is there a way to activate it?

Sorry, I don't have any idea what UI.X/AC.UI is. If a theme doesn't have the same mechanisms to work like default XF, you will need to talk to the theme author. This addon is designed to work with normal the XenForo style.

Also, it might make sense to wait until XenForo 2.4, as this addon is being rolled into XenForo core.

Turn off the debugging option if you don’t want to log debugging info. It’s off by default.

Not directly because it's a client-side thing, but you can do it with whatever client-side analytics system you use, for example Google Analytics:

You can report on the app_open even in Google Analytics. That event is sent to Google Analytics whenever someone opens the PWA app on their device.

I follow some google instruction on how to generate this report and the only event similar is app_install. I don't see app_open event on the filter list.

Not sure why the app_open event wouldn't be firing for you, but I also just remembered it attaches a pwa user dimension to every event (probably more useful anyway).

In Google Analytics, check Admin -> Custom dimensions. If PWA isn't in there already, hit "Create custom dimension" and you should be able to create a User scoped dimension with the user property pwa. Then any report can be filtered so pwa=1 would reflect anything coming through PWA app.
