Chat by Siropu [Paid] 1.25.1

No permission to buy (€29.99)
@markku I faced that issue once before. Although after inspecting the HTML element, I couldn't find anything suspicious on the stylesheet that'd cause that. So perhaps the chat was parsed incorrectly due to some reason.

@Siropu To be honest, on my case though, I don't think it was because of that. I faced the same issue before you introduced that justifying method on 1.15.x.

text-align: justify; has been added starting with the first version. I haven't seen that problem so far while chatting.

Hi, Siropu,

Great improvements on your chat, good job.

I'd like to suggest something. Would it be possible to add the ability to force each option to users? For example, to force the sound when a new message is sent on the chat, maximized mode, editor on top, etc. I think that it would be nice to be able to force the options available on your chat. It would be like putting the default options when the user sees for the first time the chat, you know? Also have the possibility to force the options, but this time the user will no longer have access to his own preferences with the options.

This chat has the most awful moderator tools for the mobile view.

I mean it bugs so much on iPad and iPhone.

The hover on timestamp thing doesn't work well for mobile at all.

Can something be done about this?

Maybe make it the same way TaigaChat is, that there's an arrow in front of the avatar, which you can click and then the moderator options open up?

Pretty please!

Another issue: when you edit (or delete?) a message, it doesn't instantly (or after the refresh rate) show up to others as edited. Instead, the new edited content will only show for others when they do a full page reload. TaigaChat handled this much better; changes were pushed instantly to everyone.

When you hide the chat to guest users, the tab doesn't appears.

Suggestion:

Add a message so people who not have right to view the chat will see a message to register or connect to view this one.

Another suggestion if it is possible => Possibility to have a favorite smilies list.

When I try to purchase this add-on I get this error:

Using the embed a room.. <xen:callback class="Siropu_Chat_Callback" method="getChat" params="{xen:array 'room_id=id'}"></xen:callback>

The options button still shows but you don't get a rooms button to change rooms.

@Dylan V, Doing so will add a chat session for every member who visit the site and session should be created when the user decides to use the chat. Not everyone wants to chat and enabling sound by default for every member is not user friendly in my opinion.
@markku, how is it bugs? As for the other issue, it can be done on chat refresh but not instantly as you said because pure JavaSscript doesn't work like that.
@Betclever, You have to set "View" permission but not "Use".
@LandOfOoo, I don't see any problems with the site.
@Mike Edge, @BobbyWibowo is right.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, but it would be nice to allow what to be selected by default, you know? It's like XenForo notifications (it's possible to put what notifications are displayed by default). I think it would be something good, because currently we can't really have control over what should be displayed by default. It would be nice for admins who want full control over the chat. And the user can still choose to disable an option that has been enabled by default, so it would be not a problem in my opinion.

@Siropu

Yes I know, I did but guest users can view the content of the chat and my suggestion goes to the fact that I want to show a message like "you don't have permissions to view messages".
Is this possible for future release?

By the way, your extra styling on all pages mode (siropu_chat template) to add margin on body, isn't it better to use padding instead of margin? By using margin, if the site uses background on the body, it'll be cut-off. And since the chat bar has a margin on the left and right anyway, the extra empty space will become too noticeable.

Well, on my case, to begin with, 100px was already too high for the responsive view.

You are right, padding is better so I will change that.
As for 100px, that is for mobile view when the bar displays a long message. It might be too much if you don't have debug enabled or extra links in the footer.
