Avatars on new members are broken!

Not sure what is going on but I hope someone can offer suggestion on what might be causing this.

or it could be an issue with your avatars if they were imported from VB

Check the permissions on your /data and /internal_data directories - including all sub-directories.
They should all be set to 777.

Are you receiving any error when trying to upload a new avatar?
