[Andrew] Moderator Panel

[Andrew] Moderator Panel 2.0.9

No permission to download
Another thing I noticed on Recent logins:
If no IP Lookup API is configured, columns Login country and Register country are always empty and the filters (obviously) do not work.

It therefore might make sense to hide those elements if no API is enabled (for privacy reasons).

It would also be nice if there was support for Cloudflare (header CF-IPCountry), ideally you could support arbitrary headers so this would also work for werbserver modules.
I have removed the filters and columns if an API is not configured in the next release

AndrewSimm updated [Andrew] Moderator Panel with a new update entry:

Version 2.0.9

FIXED: IP address was visible on recent login log for users who did not have permission to view IP
FIXED: Updated user note "entered on" phrase to make easier to translate
ADDED: Confirmation to user note deletion and used POST to delete
FXIED: Moved permission check logic to the entity
FIXED: Removed country filter if no API was configured
FIXED: Removed columns on profile and recent login page if no API is configured

Question. Would it be possible for a new feature where you can easily see shared IP’s or members having duplicated accounts when posting under the same IP?

Would be nice to have this in de Mod panel where we can easily see possible connections.

Can we get a setting that removes the "view ignored content" link (or whatever the exact wording is) if you have put someone onto someone's forced ignore list?

Any chance of being able to attach images directly to user notes rather than as a URL? I'm wondering how hard this would be to modify/implement.
I don’t understand this. Surely URL is best if we, as a moderator, are referring to a post someone made. How is a new image (as attachment) useful in this context?

I'm specifically referring to the inline image bbcode button.

Mostly I find we need it for screenshots, similar to above. Some examples would be:
  • screenshots of content that must be deleted, but is important for context in the note
  • since "reports" also do not allow image or file attachments, "notes" would be the only place relevant visual information could go that moderators could refer to
  • screenshots of content that not all moderators have access to
  • screenshots regarding off-site content, such as the user posting illegal material in another forum
  • screenshots of reports from other users, such as harassing conversations or DMs received from this user
  • screenshots of emails from this user
  • screenshots of items this user has posted that are likely to change, such as a policy-violating user icon or profile banner
  • screenshots of the contents of files or resources this user has attached in posts to the forum
  • any visual information that is important to the context of the note, but which won't be available to moderators later when the notes are reviewed by other mods and also can't be accessed by URL

Only just came across this addon today, and wow, it is brilliant! Great work @AndrewSimm.

I have a question regarding some settings, namely those shown in the image below. What do you put in there? Also, before if I wanted to check the blacklist status of an IP address, I would click the IP address, it would take me to a location site, and then on there I would click a Blacklist Status button to get the answer. A moderator told me this has gone. Any advice?

What do you put in there?
Nothing unless you want to uncheck the "use IPSearch.io" box. If you'd prefer not to use IPSearch.io you can go and grab an API key (I'm sure they all offer various tiers of pricing) for one of the other services and pop it in there and choose that service instead.

Also, before if I wanted to check the blacklist status of an IP address, I would click the IP address, it would take me to a location site, and then on there I would click a Blacklist Status button to get the answer.
That would probably be dependent on which service you have configured in your "External service providers" (within Setup - Options in the ACP). You should find a "IP information URL" which defines who you head off to when clicking on IP addresses. What services they offer (eg a link to a blacklist check) is totally down to them. I would assume your current provider has maybe removed the blacklist feature they previously had?

Thanks. I turned it off and it directed me to the whatismyipaddress website, which it was originally setup for before installing this addon.
