XF 2.2 ALT+BrowserTAB select

Switching between xenforo Browser TABs with holding ALT + number of TAB (counting from left) some how does activate an additional keystroke and in my case something in the xenforo navbar gets selected corresponding to the number selected.

• ALT+1, goes to /whats-new
• ALT+2, opens the Find Threads submenu
• ALT+3, opens the watched submenu
• etc.

How can i disable this behavior?

Hint:
Try switching to Forum Home if you cannot make this to work and go from there, move around the xenforo TAB position to be able to select it via different ALT+Number.
