Well, the option 'side by side' you have with twitch streams doesn't exist with Dailymotion streams.

I thought it would be cool to use the same layout as XenPorta 2 with XenRio. Atm when you add the taigachat to each streams, the chat is right under the stream view. Using the same layout as articles, it would be possible to put blocks everywhere (in the sidebar for example).

Also, Dailymotion add something new for video games. any ETA before being able to use the chat from it? http://games.dailymotion.com/

You could add XP2 to XenRio... thats how XP2 works, you can add it anywhere. But XenRio doesn't use a standard sidebar... so it shows up like this:

Dailymotion, like Youtube, DOES NOT HAVE CHATROOMS. They both have live commenting; but not chat rooms. There is no way to embed their comment systems on your own website.
 
Oh, and technically you CAN get rid of the sidebar in XenRio... isntead of your find code being:

Do this instead:
Code: 
#(^.*?)(<aside>.*?</aside>)(.*$)#s

Then it works.

So at this point I would argue... XenRio already works with XenPorta2 perfectly fine.
 
Hum, I think it will do the trick.
However, is it possible to update it to take account of the dailymotion changes? For example the games etc...?

Also what would be the evalutation code for XenRio? I want to have 2 streams page with different blocks inside the sidebar but I have no idea what to do :/

Ok, I havve this for XF Version 1.1 and it's fine for me as I'm not going to update my XF. I have tried upgraded verions of this addon and they do not work for my XF version. So I am begging you to simply allow me to modify my version:

I wish to make it so that:

1) The sidebars do not show on the right-side of selected stream when viewing. - (Check / Done)
2) I would like for the selected stream to default-open to MEDIUM size - (having trouble)

Please help? It's the only thing I need done to make everything look as I want on my forum. ;)

Are the recent versions of XenRio not compatible with XF1.1?
 
Correct, they do not work. So I went back to the one which does. One of the reasons I tried to upgrade was because you added how we caould select the default size of view. I want to change ours from small to medium but the upgrade did not install and I don't really want to try to do it again as upgrading my XF will make some old addons (no longer supported) stop working.

Thats' why I'm asking you for just a little code where the default "small" can be changed to default 'medium'.

What error do they give?
 
Oh, I don'r remember, I don't think there were any errors, I 'm thinking that is just didn't show or something.
 
Usually when I have tried to install any upgrade that is not compatible with my version of XF. it simply just doesn't show up. So reverting back to the version that works shows up and that's how we know.
 
I'm not able to upgrade my XF and I have explained to you why. I'ts funny that we are going back and forth on something I'm asking for as simple as having the default size changed to medium and I just think that after paying $40.00 for your addon and the issue of my not willing to upgrade that you would just send me a nice code. As I have said my upgrading would cause existing addons which offer no more support, to stop working. So again, my upgrading is not an option but your sending me a code to make the live stream show as Medium instead of Small, is an option. Why won't you help me with my issue by just giving me a code to modify something you have already upgraded in new version where people can choose which size the lives opens to, but the only version I have does not? I cannot upgrade my XF without losing many no-longer-supported-addons.
 
I'm sorry, but I won't be updating a 2 year old version of this mod. Its not as simple as just upgrading a single file or a few lines of text... massive things change over the course of two years. You're asking for code changes for a single use case scenario... that kind of stuff doesn't go for $40.
