My forum is in /root/community directory. By following the FAQ it now ends up http://northdallasracing/community/forums/

I would like my portal to be:
http://northdallasracing.com/index.php -> Portal
http://northdallasracing.com/community/index.php -> Forums

Allow me to clear this.

You installed xf in /community folder right? (northdallasracing.com/community)

And you want xenporta in / right? (northdallasracing.com)

That's impossible to xenporta2 do. Because xenporta2 (and any portal addon in XF) only works in where xf installed.

If you want xenporta2 in /, you need to move your xf from /community to /

Yes, you can pretty much do anything you want with htaccess...

You have two choices...

1. Set a fixed height for all your articles...
2. Stop using a multicolumn layout...

I will try the fixed height where is that option that sounds like a much better idea! BTW I am watching all the FAQ videos.

One final question, appreciate the support, is their a widget for the Showcase that actually works? I downloaded the Showcase widget from Bob but it stacks images vertically not horizontally and has no real controls. Would it be possible to do jquery in an HTML box? Most tell you to add stuff in HTML and BODY areas. I am just getting back up to speed with ccoding so any pointers on how to get a simple Jquery slide image box working with Showcase and Xenporta would be great. Showcase 2.3 is integrated with CTA but not Xenporta out of the box They actually have specific CTA tabs.

Hey, I was off for a loong time but now I'm back. So, as you know, I'm using the auto-promote feature and for now, everything I wanted with XP2 is there so I can't be more happy than that.

I still have a problem which is not a serious one but I'm sure you can do something about it. The design of my block is simple and the description of the articles is set to have 160 letters. The problem I have is that the description take bbcodes inside it and I don't want all of them in the desc. Is it possible to take 160 letters + bbcodes instead? and don't pay attention to the img bbcode?

Also, I have noticed that the title of the Thread Widget was related to a XenForo phrase. Is it possible to change it to something related to XP2? We could keep the widget's template free from modifications and just translate your new phrase. It would be better imo.

After playing with this I wanted to say I love this mod. I purchased this mod as well as CTA and I find this to be the best portal/articles mod available. Reminds me a lot of vBadvnaced. I also appreciate the support.

Figure out my issue. It must have been an issue when importing the templates. Reinstalled the templates and re-edited Extra.CSS and masonry is now working.
