Is there a demo available for News Publisher?​

No, we do not currently offer a public demo for XenCustomize News Publisher. However, we do have a private installation of News Publisher 2.2.x on our XF 2.2 powered support forum for testing purposes. If you're interested in seeing it in action, you can access the public-facing areas. To request access, register an account at XenCustomize.com and send a DM to Veer for News Publisher access.

What XenForo versions is News Publisher compatible with?​

XenCustomize News Publisher is currently compatible with:

• XenForo 2.2.4+
• XenForo 2.3.0+

Can I set News Publisher as the homepage of my site?​

Absolutely! To set News Publisher as the homepage, follow these steps:

1. Go to your Admin CP.
2. Search for the setting "Index page route".
3. Set it to "news-publisher/".

This will make the News Publisher the default homepage of your site.

Can I create a featured news and display it on my forums?​

Yes, news stories can be featured in News Publisher 2.3.x. This is fully explained in the thread "News Publisher: Featured News."

To display featured news on your forums, you can create a Featured Content widget in XenForo 2.3. In this widget, select "News story" as the content type to show only featured news.

Can I control who can post news based on user groups?​

I need a homepage for articles. Is News P right for me?​

Yes, News Publisher’s main content type is "News story," which can be renamed to whatever you prefer, such as article or blog post. The use of phrases allows you to customize it. So, it can definitely be used as a homepage for news or articles.
