Right now my plans were to provide mainly the 2.3 compatibility.

I did not recall that feature request as I don't think I saw it posted on our website but maybe I am mistaking ?
This is something I could envision in a future version for the multiple bracket thing.

Can you provide more information on the exact use case behind ?

I've just upgrade my site to XF2.3 and renewed my license for this,
Now I've got problems when creating torunaments and also displaying some old tournaments.

Creating a new single elimination tournament doesn't generate the bracket

NewTournament.webp

But the bracket still shows for old tournaments (created in XF2.2.x)

OldTournamentCompleted.webp

Creating new round robin tournaments doesn't create the matches or league when generated

This is one was newly created in XF2.3

RoundRobinNew.webp

This one was set up in XF2.2 and was ongoing, the leagues had been generated and 10 or so matches played

RoundRobinCurrent.webp

And this is an old completed round robin tournament

OldRoundRobinCompleted.webp

None of them show the matches or league

There are no outdated templates and I get the same results using default and unmodified styles.

Am I missing something or is this a (pretty big) bug?

Hum something does not add up indeed.
Can you please send me a test account per PM, I'll investigate on Wednesday evening.

Oh right, I think I had started working on a new release but haven't finished it.

That's not something that is implemented.

Was this ever added where lowest score wins?

Anyone using this for golf? If so, any feedback or thoughts on suitability?

No.

I am not sure the current available modes would suit. Golf is made of multiple rounds with, as you stated, the lowest score winning and a cut applied usually after the second round. Except the manual mode but that wouldn’t be so good.
For golf, results would be input all manually by the admin ?

So they're actually using what I think is probably a custom PHP script made by an ex-member that ties into their custom but old PHP site with basic membership login functionality.

I think the admin manually adds all the names to a tournament at the start using a separate signup form. Then for the tournament / knockout page it relies on the members themselves logging in and typing the winner into the text box of the next bracket.

Once saved if they make a mistake only the admin can fix it.

This mode, i.e. single elimination is supported by my add-on.
That's what you see in the image inside the product description.
